VirtualCloneDrive is a virtual drive application for Windows. It functions and behaves just like your regular CD or DVD drive, but it just is a virtual one. This is a free application that will emulate all the image files that you create using CloneCD or CloneDVD. It even supports the most used formats, such as ISO, BIN, CCD, etc. One main feature I liked about this one in comparison with other similar applications is the fact that if you double click an image file wherever on your computer it will be automatically mounted onto the virtual drive. That is a time-saver. VirtualCloneDrive supports up to 8 virtual drives operating at the same time, but having 8 of those will most likely slow down the overall performance of your computer. The readme files and the website do not make any mention about copy-protection so I wouldn't know if this application would work with games' ISOs or not. But if you want to mount those ISO files that are laying on your system or are just tired of having to insert your CDs or DVDs every time you want to see your photos, videos, or documents, this program will most likely do.
